Ian Hill RIBA, NRAC Consultant, MSc ID(Dist)Salf, DipArch, BArch.


A registered access consultant and a registered and chartered architect with over 25 years experience, Ian has worked in private practice, in the accessibility and community technical aid fields, and in aid development work in tropical Africa. 


His proven track record of access audit, access appraisal and architectural design commissions is backed by his architectural and access experience and by consultant membership of the National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC), the Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE), and the Access Association.  Ian is registered with the Architects’ Registration Board, is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.


Ian has completed an MSc in Accessibility and Inclusive Design at Salford University, gaining Distinction.  He has presented talks, seminars and workshops on accessibility to the RIBA, clients, consultants and colleagues.  A mobility impairment gives him empathy and understanding for individualsʼ varying requirements of the built environment.
